Success Matrix

Below is how Easy Tree is determined if it is a success or not. We are judging the robot on 5 over all criteria. They are displayed in the table below, named Figure 1.

To measure this success as mentioned above we have to do test trial runs of Easy Tree. Easy Tree was brought to a field to properly test it's success of these criteria. This is tabulated into values shown in the table below, and also graphically represented in Figure 2. As can be seen we have had a couple of failures on the robot. Starting with the pH module, the reason there is 1 failure is due to the fact that we did not have the pH value go all the way into the ground, the value in the code was off by one digit. The highest amount of failure was the fertilizer, the reason for this failure was we had to find the right angle for the Fertilizer to go in the hole every time. However once we figured it out, there were numerous successes. The small issue we had with the mechanics of driving was the fact that we weren't in the optimal conditions of flat land, Easy Tree was on a hilly landscape. Finally bringing us to the compiled tasks, the only failure was due to the grass issues that we had, the robot ran into a vine like patch of grass and was unable to move, causing the rest of Easy Tree to fail.
